Unistellar Optics Smart Telescope
At 365Astronomy, discover a remarkable selection of Unistellar Optics smart telescopes that combine innovation, precision, and user-friendly design. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced stargazer, there’s a perfect model available.
The versatile Odyssey and Odyssey Pro models are great for both deep-sky explorations and planetary observations, featuring dynamic signal amplification and automated tracking.
The eVscope 2 boasts a 7.7MP Nikon electronic eyepiece for stunning clarity and excellent light pollution reduction, while the eQuinox 2 offers enhanced vision and portability for a smooth stargazing experience. The Unistellar eVscope 2 and eQuinox 2 are currently (as of Winter 2025/2026) nearly the biggest aperture smart telescopes, but certainly with the longest focal length (450mm). The Celestron Origin features larger aperture, but shorter focal lenght, therefore these Unistellar telescopes are better suited for small celestial objects and even for some minimalistic planetary observation/imaging. Note that generally speaking you would need a telescope with a very long focal length for good views of even the largest planets, so most smart telescopes are completely unsuitable for that. Unistellar was the only smart telescope manufacturer that made lots of efforts to improve planetary imaging with their smart telescopes. These images are of course not comparable with images that you could achieve with telescopes with much longer focal length. The problem is that it is much more complicated to create similar “robotic” or “automated” systems with long focal length telescopes due to the need for much higher accuracy of movement, larger database for plate solving and much shorter possible exposure times when used in Alt-Azimuth configuration, just to mention that most basic issues. So, basically, when you use a smart telescope, focus on galaxies, globular clusters and nebulae, not so much on planets.
With Unistellar you can explore the cosmos like never before!

Dwarf Lab Smart Telescope for Planets
The Dwarf Lab smart telescope provides a versatile solution for exploring the universe and capturing distant moments. Controlled via a user-friendly smartphone app, they cater to amateur astronomers, bird watchers, wildlife photographers, and photography enthusiasts.
The Dwarf 3, with its compact design and powerful features, enhances observational experiences, whether you’re admiring celestial bodies or capturing action at sporting events.
The Dwarf Lab smart telescope for planets is perfect for elevating your universe adventures. 365Astronomy is the exclusive UK importer and distribuitor of Dwarflab products. We supply all official Dwarflab dealers in the UK and a few European countries. Nearly all of our colleagues used or use a Dwarf smart telescope, so we can provide hand-on advice and trouble shoot if there is a problem.

Vaonis Smart Telescopes and Accessories
365Astronomy is supplying several UK retailers with Vaonis products. We also frequently use these wonderful and nice looking telescopes. The Vespera II and Vespera Pro telescopes offer the largest resolution of any current smart telescope, especially when looking at image sizes of mosaic images that can go up to 50 megapixels in the case of the Vespera Pro.
A wide range of accessories are also availble for these telescopes and Vaonis also manufactures their unique Hestia range that will convert your smartphone into a smart telescope.

ZWO Seestar range of Smart Telescopes
365Astronomy was the first to bring ZWO astro photo cameras into the UK in 2012 and grew together with ZWO, bringing more and more products into the market and supplying several specialist UK astronomy retailers. We grew into an astro photo specialist superstar company with our own in-house service department and practically all our employees are experienced astro photographers who use complicated rigs, but also enjoy using various smart telescopes, including the ZWO Seestar S30 and S50.

Celestron Origin Smart Telescope
The largest and most well known in the world manufacturer of telescopes came out with their own smart telescope as well, although a bit later than others, but they managed to pull out a rather unique smart telescope based on their vast experience in manufacturing Schmidth Cassegran based RASA telescopes with extremely fast optics, in this case f/2.
These are not cheap, but offer the largest aperture in smart telescopes as of Winter 2025.
Frequently Asked Questions
Are Smart telescopes difficult to use?
Smart telescopes are user-friendly and easy to operate with your smartphone or tablet. Just attach a tripod, turn it on, and connect through the telescope’s Wi-Fi. They are perfect for the whole family to enjoy astronomy.
Do I need Wi-Fi to use my smart telescope?
Smart telescopes create their own Wi-Fi for app connectivity, allowing use anywhere, which is ideal for camping or observation station get-togethers. Just connect your phone to the telescope’s Wi-Fi and start imaging with fellow astrophotographers!
Do smart telescopes need a tripod?
To ensure precise operation and to establish a stable and secure base, smart telescopes require the use of a tripod during operation. While most models include a tripod as a standard accessory, they can often be attached to user-supplied tripods if preferred.
